Keep in CAMALDOLI (AR) From 25 July to 7 August
WEEKS OF THEOLOGICAL FUCI
take place from July 25 to August 7 next few weeks the traditional theology of Fuci , in the frame of the Benedictine monastery of Camaldoli (AR).
“Attendiamo a Camaldoli over 100 university and we want to remember that are open to all interested students, members or not the Federation. "
The bond, which is renewed every year, between Fuci Camaldoli and knows a particular tradition. The presidents also argued: "It was 1934 when, for the first time, a group of undergraduate and graduate students decided, under the guidance of Giovanni Battista Montini, Camaldoli to go to for an experience of study, prayer and reflection. Starting from this intuition, the place became a veritable hotbed of culture. Then goes back to 1956, the first real week of Theological FUCI, an experience that is repeated every summer since then, although different in themes and content. " The first week
Theological takes place this year July 25 to 31 with the theme: "The liturgy of listening time, space free." In a time when the prevailing logic of speed and profit, which runs to the sound of fast pace and exchanges of interests, will be in-depth knowledge of the liturgy, a space where you meet God's gift to men and the praise of men to God Participants will be guided in reflections by Prof. Andrea Grillo, theologian and liturgist, a professor at the Pontifical Athenaeum "S. Anselmo in Rome, and Matteo Ferrari OSB, monaco camaldolese and lecturer at the Institute of Pastoral Liturgy "S. Giustina in Padua.
The second week however, August 1 to 7, is entitled: "There is still room for ethics in the economy? Listening to the biblical wisdom. " Starting from hearing of the biblical texts we will try to rediscover the ribbing they inspire about the relationship between ethics and economics. Starting from the Holy Scriptures we go into, then, in an analysis of current economic and social life. Will lead reflections Sister Benedetta Rossi, biblical scholar, and Benedetta Giovanola, Professor of Ethics and Economics at the University of Macerata.
The development of the themes chosen for the study includes a series of lectures combined with moments of debate and discussion in the workshops of the group. Monastery in the days of the participants are marked by the rhythms of prayer with the monks, from moments of leisure in contact with nature and evenings of fun.
